It’s a strange fact to grapple with that we have lived through a pandemic. Most of us would like to forget about it; some may have forgotten. As a unique and hopefully one-time event of our lifetime, it is important to remember and be able to represent these pandemic experiences authentically.
To do so, we are working on an oral history project, interviewing individuals, and asking them to recount their experiences through COVID-19. Questions will focus on how individuals used different tools and technologies in their everyday lives during their pandemic experience. For instance, the new cleaning supplies or habits you may have picked up, the way that your grandma now knows how to use Facetime, or the bike collecting dust in your shed that you bought in hopes of being able to start a new hobby with all your lockdown free time.
If you are willing to share, we want to hear your stories.
